Scanner

To Scan a document to e-mail:
-Press "Scan to..." button on scanner
- Press "OK" until Microsoft Word appears in window
-Press "Scan"
-On Children's Reference Desk computer: -Open Microsoft Word
-Open personal e-mail program (Yahoo, etc.)
-Save scanned picture to Desktop (with appropriate title)
-attach to e-mail
-send to patron e-mail

Catalog computer again

Marcia noticed that when the login screen comes up, if you just click restart the computer goes right to the catalog.

Settings for Computer catalog

I had Jewel solve the problem of the computer catalog that changes from color to black and white.
These are the instructions:
-Click on System Preferences
-Click on System
-Click on Universal Access
-Switch to... (Set to Grayscale)

Grab Bags

Could you put together two bags for our Grab Bag program? We will have it on Wednesday morning and Friday too if needed.

Paperbacks

Certain paperbacks aren't fitting. Kathryn will assign a page to remove ones that are in bad condition. We can then re-evaluate the letters and possibly have a higher range on some racks. Labels can be made on the label maker. Tech knows how to do this.
